The Marshes Golf Club, an 18-hole championship golf course set against the breathtaking backdrop of the Gatineau Hills, was the last collaboration between Robert Trent Jones Jr. and Sr. - noted golf architects responsible for designing leading-edge courses all over the world from New York to Mexico to Japan. The Marshes has also hosted five Canadian PGA Senior Championships and been honoured as an Audubon Cooperative Wildlife Sanctuary Course.
The course offers breathtaking views and challenging holes that weave throughout gentle streams, crystal lakes and modern towers of glass and steel. It's Ottawa's leading corporate-play facility where hardwood forests and wetlands hold the first six holes, and a somewhat unusual mixture of par-three, par-four and par-five holes present multiple tees to encourage all skill levels. You can also make use of the practice facility for a day before relaxing at the Ironside Grill with a clubhouse sandwich and a cold drink.
Off the Greens
Guestrooms at Brookstreet have individual climate control to cool down after an active day on the greens, as well as wireless high-speed internet and a daily newspaper.
