Northern Ontario escape
Tucked into the tranquil shores of Bernard Lake, enroute from Huntsville to North Bay, Northridge Inn & Resort is perched in a perfect northern Ontario landscape. Here an array of activities reign over the four seasons as they transform the intimate grounds - whether they become a white wonderland or a refreshingly bright palate of spring, there is always exciting outdoor adventures to be had. Exquisite lakeside dining, late night wilderness calls, and crackling bonfires together build the perfect setting for a personalized, comforting escape in a place that does not shy away from a light dusting of snow.
Quaint charm, bustling activity
Small enough to feel like a boutique hotel, yet expansive enough to provide activities of all kinds, Northridge is the perfect outdoor retreat. Located just off Highway 11, the resort creeps to the edge of OFSC Almaguin snowmobile trails. The Almaguin Higlands hold some of the county's best trails, lined with dusted centuries-old pines and dotted with picturesque frozen lakes. The area is also designated as a special hunting and fishing ground, and ice fishing excursions can be arranged by the inn at an additional cost. Guests can also embark on snowshoeing, Nordic skiing or dog sledding adventures.
Fresh salmon, smooth jazz
The dining room on site is committed to exceptional cuisine that reflects the bounty of northern Canada, and you can feast on venison with a wildberry coulis or fresh salmon caught from nearby shores while staring out to the proximate lake. The Oak Room Lounge is also on hand to sooth after days of adventure with its award winning wine and the velvety timbre of jazz.
Comfortable lodge rooms
An exceptional level of comfort is delivered by Northridge's lodge rooms, where a fireplace and warm duvet brace against the frosted grounds. You can congregate with in-room movies to lose yourself after an active day on the trails, and guests also have access to a sauna and outdoor hot tub.
