Savvy parents will love the National Park as much as their kids will. Explore the beach, hiking trails and the Greenwich Interpretation Centre, as well as the rare plant species found in their natural habitats.
Later, enjoy a local P.E.I. meal prepared by award-winning chef, Javier Alarco, and his culinary team. The Selkirk features the "Best Seafood Chowder in the World" and was chosen as the number one chowder at the P.E.I. & International Chowder Championships at the 2011 International Shellfish Festival.
Kids will love
The free pass to the National Park will come in handy because kids will love playing on the beach and at the Greenwich Interpretation Centre where they can test their own naturalist skills with the Shell Game, Shorebird Challenge, and Dune Plant quiz. The ecosystems of Prince Edward Island are complex, and kids will get a chance to acqauint themselves with them through these interactive games.
No doubt they'll also be impressed with the age-appropriate "Kids' Essentials" kit they'll receive at check in (for infants to age seven).
