The resort packages and presents the perfect Caribbean vacation where a natural aquatic playground beckons the whole family. For those looking to relax on stretches of incomparable sand in Mexico, shaded by palms and consistently entertained, Smile offers activities for the whole family. Children (free under the age of 12) can revel in the games and arts and crafts offered especially for them, while parents give thanks for the private check-in and dinner reservations that make their vacations worry-free.

The added features of Smile at Aventura Cove Resort set it apart from other sun-soaked adventures, offering special accommodations in dedicated buildings, priority luggage delivery and an exclusive restaurant. There are also additional activities added to the roster of usual resort pastimes, so couples can learn to cha-cha across the dance floor after scuba diving demonstrations, a journey aboard a kayak or a spell in the sand. Special surprises for children include toys and beach buckets so they can hanker down into the warm sand before riding a bicycle around the property.


The Little Big Club, which is a new, year-round kids program on the resort is now in full-swing. Kids can enjoy several different ongoing activities in the Thomas and Friends activity station, Barney's Music Room, Bob the Builder Construction Zone and the Angelina Ballerina Dance Studio. There is also a live show called the Ultimate Rock Show with singing, dancing and audience participation. Additionally, there is a Splash Park, Bob the Builder Sandcastle Beach Club, and non-stop interactive activities for all kids to partake in along with their favourite characters.

For dinner guests can choose from steakhouse, Italian or Mexican favourites, where succulent bean burritos herald a cocktail from one of the four bars, or quality time spent in the Deluxe Resort Room where kids can choose from select Xbox games. Rooms also come with an LCD TV and a mini-fridge stocked with kids in mind, and elsewhere on the resort you'll find Jacuzzis, spa services and an onsite disco.

The resort is flanked by interesting sites sure to entertain the whole family, from the world's longest underground river to the Mayan ruins of Tulum to the stunning beaches and authentic Mexican feel of Playa del Carmen. Also close by is Xcarat archaeological park, where kids can get up close and personal with butterflies, birds, turtles and other species, and the whole family can enjoy lagoons, jungle trails and specialty shows.
