Activities and Recreation

A veritable floating city, the Norwegian Epic's towering girth holds an almost immeasurable amount of activities to while away your time at sea. Keep your regimented fitness goals on track in the Pulse Fitness Center, where you'll find an army of cardiovascular machines, free weights and a range of classes from yoga to spinning. Practice lay-ups and slam dunks at the Sports Complex, or engage your upper body's muscular endurance on the rock climbing and repelling walls.

As the sun streaks closer to the horizon, sink into the plush seats of the Epic's theatre and enjoy the percussive exuberance of the popular Blue Man Group. Pepper your evening with the mellow tones of blues or brassy sass of jazz in the Fat Cats Jazz & Blues club, or get reacquainted with your sense of humour at the comedy club onboard. Age isn't a factor for finding entertainment on the ship, with the tricked-out video arcade, Wii Wall, as well as the kids and teens clubs, there really won't be much time for boredom.

Ports of Call

The eastern Caribbean is bursting with warmth, vibrant cultures and expansive, soft, sandy beaches that will be difficult to forget. Your epic cruise will transport you to distinct islands that merge together the typical explosive Caribbean flair with hints of the atypical. Peruse the sprawling shopping options in Philipsburg, St. Maarten, an island half entrenched in rich Dutch elegance and half in romantic French history. From there you'll float onward to St. Thomas, once a stronghold for swashbuckling brigands, now renowned for some of the best duty-free shopping in the Caribbean and the shining jewel of the U.S. Virgin Islands. In Nassau, take an optional snorkel excursion or splash through the clear blue surf in the company of chattering dolphins. With Miami as your final destination, you'll be able to meander through South Beach, eyes peeled for celebrity sightings, or laze off your sea-legs dozing on the beach.

Whether you're in the mind set for a dining experience that includes sommeliers and multiple courses or the laid back choose-your-own-adventure style of a buffet, an abundance of choice lies in wait to tantalize and transfix your palate.
