Best known on the Vegas Strip as the majestic pyramid with the statue of the Sphinx out front, Luxor has everything you want from a Vegas destination while offering unique, memorable accommodations. The 30-story pyramid's atrium contains a unique shopping arcade (featuring Ed Hardy and English Laundry to motorcycles designed by Criss Angel), fabulous entertainment and dining, to non-stop Vegas casino action - and you can see it all from its extraordinary elevator, which goes up and down on a 39 degree angle. At Luxor, you'll also find recreations of the wonders of Egypt, including a 110-foot tall replica of the Great Sphinx of Giza.
Car Rental
This offer includes a complimentary car rental which is perfect for taking a day trip or two off of the strip. For about C$11, you can tour the nearby Hoover Dam 30km away, which is responsible for powering the bustling strip. If you feel like some fun, a 40-klometre drive will get you to Bonnie Springs Old Nevada, a replica of an 1880s mining town complete with saloons, tumbleweeds and stagecoaches (just like the movies). Other notable road trips off the strip include a visit to Ash Meadows Wildlife Refuge, exploring the Valley of Fire and its mysterious hieroglyphics, and Lake Mead.
Entertainment
Currently, the Luxor is housing the show Believe, by Criss Angel, in partnership with Cirque du Soleil. The magic feats leave audience members in a state of bewilderment, awe and fascination. The show includes some of the most amazing illusions ever-presented on stage from feats that Harry Houdini dared decades ago to newly invented stunts of Criss Angel. Additionally, you may want to check out Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition, a collection of relics from the famous ship. The Exhibition is among the highest attended in history.
The pool deck at Luxor is one of the largest on the Strip with poolside cabanas you can reserve for a price. This is the perfect spot to relax and unwind during the day, and ideal for an evening gathering with cocktails at night. You may also want to escape to Nurture Spa and Salon, which offers a full range of treatments in case you are in the mood for some rejuvenation. As for nightlife, LAX is a 26,000 square foot, two-story nightclub with a state-of-the-art sound system. Additional nightlife destinations within Luxor include CatHouse, Aurora, Liquidity, Flight, High Bar and Play Bar.
