First and foremost, the Sunset Beach Club Benalmadena is steps away from the soft sands of the beach - which is the optimal spot for lounging in the sun or shade, partaking in water sports or cooling down in the refreshing Mediterranean waters.
Paloma Park is the ideal place for a picnic or afternoon stroll, and is perfect for families. The 200,000 square metre plot contains a rectangular lake with a beautiful fountain and a cactus garden with plants from all over the world. But that's not all - the park is abound with peacocks, ducks, geese, chickens and roosters, and rabbits hiding in the bushes. The nearby amusement park, Tivoli World, is also a hotspot for families, featuring a slew of rides and games, a show boat with a pirate show, flamenco dance performances and more.
History buffs will love the Watchtower of Torrequebrada, which was used by Christians to guard against Moorish invasions. The tower is seven metres in height and a fire was lit on the top of it when there was danger. Two men would stay in the tower at all times to keep an eye out for any danger coming in from the sea. Built more recently is Bil-Bil Castle, an Arab style edifice constructed in 1927 by a wealthy family as a country house. Today the building is a cultural centre and used for art exhibitions, concerts and more.

The 4-Star Sunset Beach Club hotel apartments are ideal for four people, and offer a comfy home-away-from-home atmosphere throughout your stay. Each unit is fully furnished and has a terrace and kitchen. There is one separate bedroom with sliding doors off of the living area, a dining area with a table and four chairs, and a fully equipped kitchen. Units also have TV with international channels, individual climate control, a direct-dial telephone, and full bathroom with hairdryer. Bed linens are also changes twice weekly and towels are changed daily.
On-site you will find two outdoor swimming pools amidst landscaped terraces, a children's paddling pool climbing and play area and a kid's club. For adults, there is an archery and pistol shooting range, table tennis, pool tables, and an activity club with daily events for all ages. There is also mini bowling, a games room, a hair and beauty salon, a fitness centre and indoor pool (for an additional fee), an in-house supermarket and bakery, scuba centre and more.
The main dining room of the hotel, Oasis Bar and Restaurant, is open for three meals a day, every day, and also has free live entertainment most evenings. The restaurant also features a long bar area, serving hot and cold drinks, and a Polynesian style shade terrace area to dine al fresco.
