From Viking roots to medieval fortresses

Drifting through the majestic Norwegian landscape, you'll find much more than quaint villages and majestically green, rollicking mountain ranges. Discover the robust history of the Vikings in Alesund, as well as one of the largest aquariums in Europe. Take in the breathtaking views of Geiranger's enormous and glittering glaciers through your camera lens. Be transported into a land of fairy tale in Flam, where you can marvel at sparkling waterfalls that tumble from rocky crags, and thick, lush forests intermingling with steep plateaus.

Visit a section of Bergen's ancient fortress, a medieval stronghold built to defend the rugged coast. You'll come full circle back to Copenhagen, the birthplace of children's literature legend Hans Christian Andersen. Make sure you take in the three C's that are the basis of this postcard-perfect destination - canals, cathedrals and castles (don't miss the Rosenborg, home to the Danish crown jewels).
