From sparkling peaks to peaceful forests
From the sparkling peaks of Singapore's skyscrapers to the golden beaches and dense jungle habitats of Malaysia and Thailand, the southeastern tip of Asia holds diverse wonders within its grasp. Mouthwatering bowls of thick rice noodles are served beneath the shadow of impressive high-rises as they guard the smiling villages that spread out underneath them. As quickly as the cosmopolitan cities of Singapore and Bangkok take your breath away, the scenic Cameron Highlands and old colonial city of Georgetown will restore a sense of comfort and calm.

Modern wonders
Kuala Lumpur, the capital city of Malaysia, sports a pair of silver towers also known as the Petronas Twins that stand an impressive 170 metres above ground - the tallest skyscrapers in Southeast Asia. In this impressive city you'll find the contrast that endears so many travellers to Asia, where humble temples stand unyielding beside shopping malls and space-age skyscrapers. Here you'll tour to see the King's Palace, the National Mosque & Railway Station, St Mary's church and other sites. En route to Penang you'll cross one of the longest bridges in the world, and once you arrive safely in Bangkok you can enjoy an optional city tour or peruse the city of your own accord. Visit the What Pho complex of temple buildings, or wander through bustling China Town and set eyes on the world’s largest solid-gold Buddha.
Ancient sites
Just as impressive as this area's modern hubs are its pristine pockets of countryside and impressive ancient sites. You'll enjoy the plantations and local villages outside Singapore, and tour the historic sites of Malacca including Cheng Hoon Temp Temple - the oldest functioning Chinese temple in the country. As the towers of Kuala Lumpur fade into the horizon, you'll tour its rolling countryside and the Batu Caves as they spread over a limestone hill. The Cameron Highlands hold a different experience in the tea plantation, market place and butterfly farm that you'll visit, and enroute to Penang you'll visit the best-managed mangrove forests in Malaysia before exploring the largest Buddhist complex in Southeast Asia.
